Wedding Trends To Watch If You’re Getting Married in 2024

Our award winning wedding venue nestled in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside is lucky enough to see some stunning wedding set ups. From the decor our couples choose to dress The Courtyard or our outdoor Pergola Ty Haf, to the show stopping wedding dresses our brides walk down the aisle in we see so many different wedding themes.

Planning your wedding decor, choosing your wedding dress and purchasing your wedding favours are some of the most enjoyable wedmin tasks. If you’re getting married in 2024 and are looking to get started with your wedding planning, here’s some of the wedding trends to watch as researched by our talented wedding co-ordinators!

CEILING DISPLAYS

The floral displays are set to become more extravagant with couples opting to decorate the ceiling in addition to the usual table decor and the wedding display arches that have also become popular in recent years. For the ceiling displays think gorgeous floral garlands, fairy lights and statement pieces. They’re certainly going to be one big wedding trend of 2024!

SHOWSTOPPING AISLES

The aisle is a focal point as you take your steps towards the all important “I do” and 2024 predicts that wedding aisles are only going to stand out more! Couples are thinking up imaginative ways to decorate the aisle.

Whether you choose to have your wedding ceremony in our light and airy Courtyard or outside on the terrace under our upgraded Pergola Ty Haf, each of these aisles at St Tewdrics House look incredible however you decide to dress them.

PHOTO BACKDROPS AND WELCOME SIGNS

It seems table plans aren’t only the only thing being added to the wedding shopping list. More and more couples are predicted to go all out with a full suite of signage, invitations, order of the days, photo backdrops and more, all of which will be carefully coordinated.

BRIGHT COLURS ARE IN

Whites and nudes will always stand the test of time, but it appears a pop of colour will be coming to the party in 2024. We can expect to see more Pink, Blue, Green and Yellow to be incorporated into wedding decor throughout the changing seasons, all of which look incredible against the neutral colour palette throughout our stunning wedding venue.

SUSTAINABILITY

For the eco conscious amongst us, some wedding couples decide to plan their wedding with sustainability in mind. Think sustainable materials, favours, vegan make up, vegan menus and more.
