La Rosiere

La Rosiere was the section on the Tour de France route where Geraint Thomas won Stage 11 in spectacular fashion. Geraint then famously went on to win the 2018 Tour de France.

This cosy double bedroom is full of charm and set in the eaves of the Lodge with views over our grounds towards the main house. Decorated with William Morris classic wallpaper ‘Willow Boughs’ which was designed in 1887 and characterises Morris’s pre-eminent flair for design and composition with sinuous lines and subtle tone. The headboard is a bespoke design from the Romo Pluma collection.  Sara Thomas, who designs all our bedrooms, wanted to put colour and texture in here so we used this rich palette of deeper tones. Finally the bed throw is made from a wonderful chenille fabric from the Zoffany Rothko range.

La Rosiere can also be made up as a twin-bedded room and has an en-suite shower.
