We’re delighted to announce that St Tewdrics House is a finalist in not one, but two awards in the upcoming 2023 Wedding Industry Awards. We’re a regional finalist for the best Events Team and we’re also a regional finalist for the Wedding Venue (Historic Building) of the year for the second year running!
TWIA (The Wedding Industry Awards) are the regional and national client-voted awards in the UK wedding industry, which means we have our wonderful couples that have married with us at St Tewdrics House to thank for our finalist placements.
In the 2022 Awards, St Tewdrics House received the highly commended award for the Wedding Venue (Historic Building) of the year. When Geraint Thomas OBE, his wife Sara Thomas, and her parents Eifion and Beth restored the house back in 2016, it was important to them to keep many of the historic and period of features of the incredible house, so it is great to be recognised within this historic category
For the first year running, we have also been named as a finalist for the best events team. This is so special to the staff who do go above and beyond to deliver outstanding service to our couples, always ensuring they receive the wedding of their dreams.

We recently got married at St. Tewdrics (May 2022) and we honestly could not recommend it more as a wedding venue.
As a venue in itself, it is stunning! From the grounds to the house and ceremony room, to the guest bedrooms, it is all gorgeous. We were fortunate enough to have great weather and held our ceremony outside which was really lovely.
On top of that, the whole team at St Tewdrics were fantastic. From our very first visit, we felt like we would be really well looked after. Our wedding coordinator Charlotte was amazing, both in the build-up and on the day. She helped make sure everything was organised, arranged timings with our suppliers directly, and made sure everything on the day ran smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about anything.
Our wedding day was amazing and we had so many compliments from guests on the venue and suppliers. A huge thank you to everyone at St Tewdrics for making it the most perfect day. – Nicole Davies
