Our large terrace and gardens are the perfect setting for your drinks reception with plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy the celebrations. The large lawn lends itself to garden games while our meadow is perfect for exploring or escaping for some peace and quiet! Photographers are in their element at St Tewdrics as the grounds and countryside location offer picturesque views and fantastic backdrops for those special photographs.

The cosy reception rooms in The House are also ideal for mingling with your guests and offer plenty of comfortable seating while being able to enjoy the views of the gardens through the period windows and French doors. Whether you spend time inside or out, we’ll make sure the drinks are flowing and you and your guests have a wonderful time! While you’re enjoying drinks and canapes with your guests, we’ll be behind the scenes setting up The Courtyard for your wedding breakfast. When the flowers are in place and the candles are lit, we’ll give you a sneak-peek so that you can be wowed before your guests take their seats! After the big reveal and while your guests get settled in The Courtyard, you could take the opportunity to enjoy a quiet five minutes together, perhaps explore the grounds for some romantic couple photos.

We’ll be ready and waiting for you to make your entrance to your wedding breakfast with plenty of applause and cheers from your guests! Sit back, relax and enjoy your delicious wedding breakfast in The Courtyard with up to 150 guests. Whether you opt for a sumptuous 3 course meal or something a little more relaxed, our hand-picked caterers – Epic Caterers, Pickled Pumpkin and Strawberry Shortcake – will make sure you and your guests are well fed and looked after!

After your wedding breakfast and speeches, we’ll invite you and your guests to make your way back to the reception rooms in The House where tea and coffee will be served and the Bottle Bar will be open so that you can continue with the celebrations! If you’re inviting extra evening guests to join you then this is the perfect place to greet them so they can experience the magic of St Tewdrics and join in with the celebrations.

The Courtyard really comes alive in the evening, where you can party with up to 150 guests. Your band or DJ will be ready to go and the lights will be dimmed to create the perfect atmosphere for you to dance the night away! Our main bar is conveniently located in The Courtyard which keeps the party in one place and means the dance floor is always full. Our caterers can serve tasty evening food from The Courtyard or outside on the terrace to accompany your evening celebrations.

At the end of the night, you may want to share a night cap with your houseguests – an opportunity to gather in the kitchen and share stories of the day before you retire to the luxury of Cariad, your honeymoon suite. Your guests can look forward to staying in one of our other 8 beautifully decorated bedrooms!
