St Tewdrics House is licensed for Civil Ceremonies with the Monmouthshire Registration Service and can accommodate up to 150 guests. We also welcome Humanist ceremonies, blessings and the renewal of vows. 

Ceremonies can either be held in The Courtyard with its glass skylight and twinkly chandeliers, or outside in Ty Haf (our pergola) surrounded by a beautiful seasonal wildflower meadow. For a more intimate ceremony, you may prefer to use one of our reception rooms in The House which have stunning views over the gardens.

You can personalise your ceremony with readings and poems and choose your favourite music to walk down the aisle. Live music is a fantastic way to enhance the occasion and works perfectly inside The Courtyard or outside in Ty Haf. After your ceremony, we can gather your guests for a confetti photo on the terrace with the meadows and gardens as a spectacular backdrop. As your guests cheer and shower you with confetti, we’ll be ready and waiting to serve drinks and canapes!

Alternatively, you may wish to have a Church service and arrive in style at St Tewdrics for your wedding reception. There are a number of Churches within a short distance of the venue including St Tewdrics Church, Mathern. Wherever you decide to say “I do” we will be ready to greet you and your guests with a glass of bubbly when you arrive back from the Church.
