Tewdrig is named after the King of the post-roman Kingdom and whose resting place is ‘Merthyr Tewdrig’ which is now known as Mathern, the local village a short distance away from St Tewdrics.

Decorated in creams and golds, this beautiful French inspired room offers a large baroque bed with matching wardrobe and a beautiful silver drop chandelier. Tewdrig offers its guests superb views over our grounds which they can enjoy from the large window with a glass of fizz in hand. At the end of a long and wonderful day, relax in the roll top bath in the en-suite bathroom which also features a large shower and views over the fountain.
